Instructions

→ Simply click/tap a button to record a bolus or basal. The default increments are 1, 2 & 5 units.

→ If you want to record a 3u bolus, simply click/tap the Add 2u Novolog + Add 1u Novolog buttons. Your graph will now display 3u of Insulin on Board. Create new buttons for custom dosages, or edit the default unit amounts by editing the buttons, if desired.

→ New boluses will reduce over the course of 4 hours, using a custom Formula in the Insulin Tracker database. To change your absorption rate, see the how-to below.

*Note: this formula is not an exact match to the pharmacokinetics of different types of insulin and cannot account for variables such as injection site.*

→ Once a bolus or basal reaches >.1 units on board, it will be removed from the chart view.

→ Each time you give a Bolus or Basal injection, the event will be added to your Calendar view, giving you a weekly overview of your injections, complete with a Basal or Bolus tag, as well as the type of insulin.

→ Boluses are also displayed in the bar chart at the bottom of the dashboard, showing your total units administered each day.

Adding a home screen widget

→ This template is optimized for both Desktop and Mobile use. On iOS, you can add a Notion widget to open up directly to your IOB Tracker, eliminating the need to click through multiple pages.

→ To add a widget, long-press on your home screen and tap the + icon on the top left

→ Scroll to Notion , tap the first option (Docs) and click Add Widget
